The Mount Carmel Choir
Music is an inseparable part of Christian worship. The Scriptures record many times when the people of God offered up songs to Him, and the songs themselves span the full breadth of the human experience: joy, sorrow, life, death, sin and salvation. It is only by God’s grace and blessing that the members of our choir have the privilege of inheriting and carrying on this sacred tradition.
As we continue to minister to our brothers and sisters in the congregation, we pray that the Lord will use the words we sing to touch hearts: to comfort the despairing, give strength to the weary, and renew the faith of those in doubt. Will you pray for us, too, that He will empower us to carry on the work He has entrusted to us with steadfastness and conviction?
We thank God for sustaining us throughout the preparation for the recent Easter choral presentation, A Time For Alleluia. In addition, we would also like to thank all the brothers and sisters who supported us throughout this period, whether by technical assistance, etc. or by their faithful prayers.
Meanwhile, life goes on and our service to the Lord continues. Anyone who’s interested is welcome to sit in and observe our practice sessions. We welcome anyone who has a heart to sing for the Lord: if you would like to join the choir, please feel free to drop by on Thursday evening or contact any of the choir members or leaders.
The choir meets every Thursday at 8 pm in the Hope Sanctuary (2nd floor).
