Baptism is a public declaration of our faith in Christ. It signifies our union with Christ and identifies us with His death and resurrection to new life.
Every Easter and Christmas, we look forward to welcoming new members into the Carmel family through baptism, reaffirmation of faith and transfer of membership.
To prepare worshippers for baptism, we hold catechism classes which will help you understand what it means to follow Christ and answer questions you may have about the faith.
Worshippers who would like to know more about Catechism classes may email Angie ([email protected]). They are usually held on Sunday afternoons over 10 weeks, culminating in the baptism service.
In view of COVID-19, please note that the present restrictions may still apply. As the situation evolves, we seek your understanding and cooperation for adjustments in the procedures.
